I am sooo amazed at HIS wonderful Grace! (never thought I would say that again!)
As a young girl I used to write songs...in my early 20s I thought I would give some of the songs to Christians . producers who were amazing song writers (Cambridge Vineyard). Well to be honest, the producers tried to be kind, but I still was devastated when I realized the songs weren't that good.
I lost the heart to write songs and eventually I got over it and forgot about it.
Last year, this guy came up to me at church (Madrid Spain) and told me that I was supposed to write songs...(I had not told anyone for years that I used to write) so these comments came as a big surprise to me.
This guy kept telling me I was supposed to write again....finally I said...."Ok God if you want this, put it in my heart again....and give me your songs! "
(I was soooo afraid of not being good enough)
So imagine my surprise when I started writing a song, called "Worthy" (video will be shot in the next couple of weeks). I was sooo afraid that it wasn't good, I played it for my family first. What was amazing was seeing their jaws drop....ok I thought...maybe this song is good enough to share with others. It took me alot of courage to share it with my musician friend Lawrence (who is one of the best guitarist I have heard).....he loved it and added parts to it.
What I love about song writing is about HIM and never was about me...(wish I would have realized that years ago!)
....NOW we have 6 - 8 musicians in our church in Madrid writing AMAZING songs!
Thank you GOD for restoring all those years....and ITS about HIS GRACE...I am sooo humbled by HIS GRACE!
